  • Spend an Afternoon with the Whole Family at NUVALI
  • How do you spend a day outdoors but have the same conveniences a mall has to offer? A short drive out of the city can take you to the perfect place: NUVALI in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Accessible through several exits along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), NUVALI may seem like a normal shopping complex from afar. However, once there, you’ll find that aside from shopping, there are many more activities you and the rest of your family can do.

Here are Philippine Primer’s top picks:

    RIDE a mini-train or a mini-car.

Kids can drive their own mini-cars or ride a colorful train around the complex.

    FEED koi fish.

You can buy a bag of fish food for P15 and feed the many, many koi fish in the man-made lake.

    SET UP a picnic.

There’s an open space covered with grass within the complex where you can set up a picnic. There’s a building nearby, but the space is large enough that you’ll still be able to feel the cool breeze. There’s also a 711 on the ground floor of the building, which is helpful if there’s anything you forgot to bring.

    RENT a bike.

You can rent a bike for P60 an hour to see more of the complex. There are bike trails around the area so biking is safe and easy.

    EAT at a restaurant.

There are many restaurants in the area. You’ll most likely find one that the entire family can agree on. There are restaurants that offer Filipino, Japanese, Italian, Chinese cuisine and lots of others.

ENJOY the sights and sounds of urban and country.

NUVALI is close enough to the city that it has all its modern conveniences, but far enough that you can still enjoy fresh air, the sight of trees and a quiet atmosphere.
