Plantation Bay Resort and Spa Cebu

Sometimes people go out of town to see many different sights, do many different things and eat many different kinds of food. Sometimes people go out of town to stay in just one place and relax. At Plantation Bay Resort and Spa, you can do a little bit of both.

PLANTATION BAY LAGOONS. These man-made saltwater lagoons that surround Plantation Bay are perfect for when the tide on the beach is too high or too low.

LOW TIDE ON THE BEACH. Although the actual beach area of Plantation Bay is small, it’s still great for sunbathing and relaxing.

Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is one of the premier resorts on Mactan Island in Cebu. And for good reason. Its 11 hectares is encompassed with everything you’re probably looking for in a getaway–a white sand beach, peaceful lagoons, refreshing swimming pools, comfortable rooms, and a variety of restaurants with good food. What’s that? You weren’t looking for all of those? Well, brace yourself, because there are actually a lot more.

PRIVATE POOL. Most of the time, guests are at the lagoons or on the beach so it’s not difficult to catch one of the three swimming pools in the resort for a quick dip by your lonesome.

Plantation Bay has a dive center where you can inquire about going out to sea on a glass-bottom boat or to other islands for snorkeling or diving. They also have kayaks, banana boats, jet skis and other aqua sports equipment for rental. And if you’d like to try something more extreme, parasailing services are also available. There are areas for other outdoor sports like golf and tennis. There’s an indoor area where you can play video games, air hockey and billiards.

PARASAILING. The speedboat leaves from Plantation Bay’s beach itself so this activity is convenient as it is fun!

AQUA SPORTS. Aside from swimming, you can kayak on the lagoons or do paddleboarding.

If your primary goal, however, is to relax, there’s Mogambo Springs. This is the spa inside the resort that offers a variety of treatments such as body scrubs, foot spas and different types of massages.

There are so many activities to do in the resort, it’s difficult to imagine that anyone would want to leave. But even that is an option that Plantation Bay has thought to offer as there’s a shuttle that regularly takes their guests to and fro the two biggest shopping malls in Cebu City–Ayala Center and SM City.

You’d be hard-pressed to find another place that offers as complete a Cebu experience as Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.
