It is not difficult to look for condominiums in Metro Manila especially now that major real estate property developers are building condos in different areas in the metropolis, such as Makati, Quezon City, Ortigas, Taguig, etc. If you don’t know where to start, don’t hesitate to inquire. A lot of professional sales agents would be more than willing to assist and show you the right areas that best suit your needs and lifestyle.

Renting or buying a condominium unit might require various permits to ensure safety and seamless transaction. As a buyer, you must consider a few things before getting a place and signing a contract. The first thing on your list should be convenience. Here are some suggestions you may check:

    • If it is near your workplace

    • If it is accessible to public transportation (MRT stations, bus or jeepney stops)

    • If there are nearby shops (restaurants, convenience stores, laundry shops, etc.)

    • If there are nearby banks

    • If there is 24-hour security and building maintenance

Here are the most common facilities that can be found in a condominium:

Parking lot. A parking space is allotted per unit in a condominium. However, there is usually an additional fee for it.

Swimming Pool. Most condominiums especially from large developers have swimming pool facilities.

Gym. Sometimes, they have gym facilities inside the condominium or a private fitness company leasing a space as well.

Before getting and providing payment for your desired condo unit, make sure you fully understand the terms & conditions. We also suggest you do a quick tour of the building.

    • Look for the nearest fire exits. See if the stairs are locked from the stairwell side or if anyone can enter and exit.

    • Know where the administration and maintenance office are located and who the building manager is.

    • Get to know your neighbors. Meet the people that lives on your building especially the ones living on the same floor.
