P2P buses or Premium Point-to-Point (P2P) Bus Service is a new public utility vehicle (PUV) created by the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) that offers a safe transportation by travelling directly from the terminal to the drop-off point. Through this kind of travel service, commuters will have a convenient option because it can save time compared to other transport vehicles.
Currently, the bus routes available are only in Metro Manila. The available routes are namely Trinoma (Quezon City) to Glorietta 5 (Makati); Robinson’s Galleria (Ortigas) to Park Square Makati; Alabang Town Center (Alabang) to Greenbelt 1 (Makati); SM North EDSA (Quezon City) to SM Megamall (Ortigas); and Fairview (Quezon City) to Makati.
Each of these buses leave at a scheduled time so better check the website to know their departure time. Also, the fare matrix is also included there. If you have a Beep Card, a stored value card used in riding the MRT and LRT, you can also use it to pay as for your fare in the P2P buses.
With this innovation in the transport system in the country, you are sure to have a hassle-free and comfortable travel to and from work!
