This will not only help save time but also, it can help you with budgeting. And of course, with every end of the trip, it is always a good thing to bring home something that will remind you of the trip, such as souvenirs. To help you out, here are some of the souvenirs that most provinces in the Philippines are famous for:

    1. Longanisa in Vigan, Ilocos Sur

    Vigan is popular to tourists because of the ancient architectural houses lining up Calle Crisologo. What you can also find in these famed cobblestone streets would be souvenir shops, where you can find various items you can give as a gift. Vigan is known for its native longganisa, a type of Ilocano sausage with spices and garlic as a delicacy.

    Going up Cordillera? Baguio City is known for is cool climate in the highlands. But also, Baguio City is also known for souvenirs, most especially the ever famous ube and strawberry jams made by Good Shepherd. These jams can either be put in bread as a spread or you can even eat it straight from the jar!

    3. Dried Mangoes in Cebu

    When in Cebu, one must really hoard dried mangoes for souvenirs. Dried mangoes are very popular in Cebu which is why these are always on top of the list of souvenir requests when going to Cebu. This chewy sweet and fruity taste of mango will definitely leave you wanting for more!

    4. Sandals from Liliw, Laguna

    Traveling down South? Check out sandals from Liliw, Laguna. Liliw is popular for their footwear products that are now making waves in the international scene because of its quality. This footwear is made from abaca tree and are all made fashionable and affordable for men and women.

    5. Woodcrafts in Paete, Laguna

    Are you a fan of wood products? Go to Paete, Laguna for your one-stop source of anything handcrafted. Paete is known for producing furniture and wood carved products. Skilled craftsmen and artisans make products out of wood such as carved images of saints and other decorations.

    6. Balisong in Taal, Batangas

    In Taal, Batangas, balisong or “butterfly knife/ fan knife” is very popular because it is the place where experts of handcrafting are found. Be careful though, as these sharp objects are just for collector’s items and it may hinder you from entering secured places such as airports if you bring this in your bag.

    What better souvenir to get than shells in the beautiful island of Boracay? At Puka beach, you’ll find several Puka shell accessories that you can buy as souvenir. You can also find other shell accessories at the White Beach where there are various souvenir shops you can get other items from.

    8. Cashew nuts in Palawan
