  • MATSURI in MANILA 2026 is set to bring together the best of Japanese and Filipino entertainment, food, and cultural experiences in one vibrant celebration on April 25, 2026, at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila. Staged as part of the 70th Anniversary of Friendship between Japan and the Philippines, the festival promises a full day of excitement that reflects the long-standing ties between the two nations.

    Dubbed as Manila’s biggest one-day Japan festival, MATSURI 2026 invites guests to immerse themselves in a festive atmosphere filled with live performances, interactive attractions, and more than 100 booths to explore. Tickets remain available through the official festival ticketing page, www.fest.matsuri.top, giving festivalgoers the chance to be part of a historic event.

    The event’s entertainment lineup is set to energize the crowd with appearances by Japanese singer Maki Otsuki, alongside beloved Filipino acts such as Mayonnaise and Sunkissed Lola. Audiences can also look forward to performances by Alex Calleja, FAIRYTALES, SKYGARDEN, R!N, DARUMA Rollin’, Yuki Horikoshi, Israel Buenaobra, Maria Ozawa, and Myrtle Sarrosa, as well as top P-Pop performers who will add even more excitement to the celebration.

    Beyond the stage, MATSURI 2026 unfolds with a vibrant mix of festival highlights, including food and hobby booths, a cosplay contest, a kimono fashion show, a thrilling car drift show, and a grand fireworks finale.

    Guests can also discover a colorful selection of exhibitors featuring takoyaki (octopus balls), yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), matcha (green tea), wagyu steak (premium Japanese beef), gashapon (capsule toys), kingyo sukui (goldfish scooping), shateki (target shooting game), and Japanese cosmetics.
