By November of this year, all passengers of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will no longer fall in line to pay for the IPSC or more commonly referred to as NAIA Terminal Fees when departing the country.

Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya announced last June 11, 2014, Wednesday, that all NAIA Terminal Fees will be included to the airline ticket prices whether it is purchased online or via ticketing outlets and travel agencies. According to him, this new policy is expected to help improve travelling convenience and efficiency in NAIA.

This policy does not include the Php 1,620 (approx. 37USD) Philippine Travel Tax charged to passengers when leaving the country. However, foreigners who have stayed in the country for less than a year are exempted from paying the Philippine Travel Tax.

Currently, NAIA Terminal Fee is Php 550 (approx. 13 USD).
