Bureau of Immigration Issues Advisory on 2026 Annual Report for Registered Foreign Nationals
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has released its official advisory on the conduct of the 2026 Annual Report, reminding all registered foreign nationals in the Philippines to comply with the mandatory reporting requirement within the prescribed period.
Pursuant to Section 10 of Republic Act No. 562, as amended, also known as the Alien Registration Act of 1950, all registered aliens are required to report within the first sixty (60) days of every calendar year, specifically from January 1, 2026, until March 1, 2026.

The Annual Report is a statutory obligation and forms part of the government’s efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date immigration records.
For 2026, the Bureau of Immigration will implement both in-person and virtual annual reporting options to ensure accessibility and convenience for foreign nationals holding valid visas.
The in-person Annual Report for the BI Main Office will be conducted at Robinsons Place Manila, 3rd Level, Center Atrium (near Robinsons Food Court), from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, excluding holidays.
Applicants are required to complete the online registration in advance through the BI e-Services portal and present a valid Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR I-Card or paper-based ACR), a valid passport, and the official receipt from the previous year’s Annual Report fee.
In addition, a virtual Annual Report will be available 24/7, including weekends and holidays, for registered foreign nationals physically present in the Philippines during the reporting period. Annual reportees availing of the virtual option must register via the BI e-Services system and settle the corresponding fees through authorized payment channels.
The Bureau further reminds all departing registered foreign nationals that payment of the Annual Report is required prior to the issuance of the Emigration Clearance Certificate-B (ECC-B), in accordance with existing immigration regulations.
Failure to comply with the Annual Report requirement may result in administrative fines or other penalties as provided under the law.
For the complete list of participating BI offices and additional details on the 2026 Annual Report, the public is advised to visit the Bureau of Immigration e-Services website.
The Bureau of Immigration reiterates its commitment to professionalism, integrity, and efficient public service, and encourages all concerned foreign nationals to comply promptly with the Annual Report requirement for strict compliance with Philippine immigration laws.
