According to the Philippine Information Agency, Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar said that instead of exiting through the Buendia off-ramp, motorists can now exit a kilometer further through a temporary ramp near Java St., Makati.

The temporary ramp currently has only one (1) passable lane, but it will eventually expand to four (4) lanes when Phase 1 is completed. The Skyway Stage 3 is a project started in 2014 to connect the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in an elevated tollway of 17.54 kilometers.

When completed, Skyway Stage 3 will have eight additional access ramps located at Buendia, Quirino, Nagtahan, Aurora Blvd., E. Rodriguez, Quezon Ave., Sgt. Rivera, and Balintawak.
