The ‘Arts Hour on Tour,’ a radio program which aims to record in various cities around the world every month, will be on stage in the Philippines to be aired this May. Hosted by BBC’s Nikki Bedi, the program will be joined by the country’s promising artists, writers, and film-makers.

Award-winning film director Treb Monteras of the Cinemalaya 2017 Best Film Respeto, Visual Artist Nikki Luna, and News Reporter and Documentarist Atom Araullo will join Bedi on the show.

The session will also have Hip Hop Artist Abra and Rock Musician Bamboo for a live performance, as well as other artists such as Louise Meets and Juan Miguel Severo for spoken word poetry and GB Labrador for a stand-up comedy.

The Arts Hour on Tour is set to tackle the “artistic response to headline issues in Manila.” The show will air on BBC World Service on May 27 and 28, and shall be available on the BBC website after the first transmission. The show will take place at the Star Theater in the CCP Complex, Pasay City.
