Kohler Bold Design Awards 2017 in PH

Kohler formally launches its first ever Kohler Bold Design Awards (KBDA) in the Philippines.

Founded in 1873 and headquartered in Kohler, Wisconsin, Kohler Co. is one of America’s oldest and largest privately held companies. With more than 50 manufacturing locations worldwide, Kohler is a global leader in the manufacture of kitchen and bath products; engines and power systems; furniture, cabinetry and tile; and owner of two of the world’s finest five-star hospitality and golf resort.

The panel of judges of Kohler Bold Design Awards with Kohler heads in Asia Pacific

The Kohler Bold Design Awards showcases the best talents in the field of innovation and design, which aims to create an award-giving body that is able to elevate, design and practice standards in Asia Pacific. The award is open to hotel operators, hospitals, and residential development property professionals, architects, and designers from the local market.

Local judges of the awards: Carmelo Casas, Royal Pineda, and Antonio “Budji” Layug

Its categories include the Boldest Spaces, with sectors representing projects for living, travel, leisure, and culture; and Visionaries, a category for the prodigies and icons of the industry. Starting with the Philippines this 2017, the Kohler Bold Design Awards is set to rotate in different countries in Asia Pacific every year.

A highly experienced team of international and Filipino professionals who cover the whole range of property disciplines will judge the participants. The winners will be announced at the gala award ceremony on January 2018.
