    • The prestigious 2017 International Teenagers Mathematics Olympiad (ITMO) is set to be held in Davao City this November 8 to 12, 2017.

    According to a report by SunStar, MTG Philippines President Dr. Isidro Aguilar mentioned that about 600 grade school and high school students are estimated to attend the said competition, coming from 27 countries all over the world, namely Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam, Iran, South Africa, and Singapore, among others. The ITMO will be composed of three contests: individual, team, and group competition.

    MTG is coordinating with the Department of Education (DepED) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) with the supervision of the International Mathematics Competition Executive Board. The ITMO will be held at the Grand Regal Hotel and Waterfront Insular Hotel in Lanang, Davao City.
