MMDA Launches Estero Blitz 2017
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) today officially launched its yearly flood mitigation activity aimed at de-clogging and cleaning up the waterways such as creeks and esteros in the metropolis in preparation for the coming rainy season.
Hundreds of MMDA personnel from the agency’s Flood Control And Sewerage Management Service this morning started the clean-up activity at the Estero Tripa de Gallina in Malate, Manila.
