The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is offering a 30% discount to students, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and senior students starting today, December 27, up to January 3, 2017. This discount is applicable to those who will be watching Oro, Sunday Beauty Queens, Kabisera, and Saving Sally.

In an interview with DZMAA, Noel Ferrer, MMFF Spokesperson, said that this move was done to attract more viewers. The film needs to fill up 10% to 20% of the movie houses for them to remain in the bigger theatres. If not, they will be transferred to smaller movie houses.
Ferrer also expressed his optimism to the success of this year’s MMFF films, especially after the MMFF Awards Night which will be happening on Thursday, at the KIA Theater in Cubao.
MMFF will be running from December 25, 2016 to January 3, 2017.
