  • Skype’s real-time translation is now available in mobile and landline calls
  • Say goodbye to language barriers as video and messaging app Skype has recently improved their service by adding their real-time translation feature to both mobile and landline calls.

The 2014 feature previously worked in Skype-to-Skype calls, but now the translation has been improved, by having nine spoken languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Arabic, and Russian.

The app works similarly like how it did in Skype-to Skype calls. Users will only need to register for free in Windows Insider Program, download the latest beta of Skype app, and have credit in Skype preview account. After, the person receiving a call will hear a message informing that the conversation is being recorded and translated. There will be brief pauses while the Skype translator works to process the information and provide interpretation.
