This September, Toyota Motor Philippines is bringing different Tamaraw variants and conversions to four events in Metro Manila and Cebu, giving visitors a closer look at just how flexible the vehicle can be.
Tamaraw at AFEX 2026
The Next Generation Toyota Tamaraw begins its September event lineup at the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) 2026, happening from September 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center.

With AFEX focusing on food processing, packaging, handling machinery, equipment, and technology, Toyota will showcase four Tamaraw configurations suited for different business needs: the Utility Van, GL Dropside, Wing Van, and Refrigerator Van. The display highlights how the vehicle can be adapted for deliveries, refrigerated logistics, mobile food operations, and other food and beverage businesses.

From September 10 to 13, the Tamaraw will also make an appearance at PHILBEX Cebu 2026 at the IEC Convention Center Cebu.
For the construction-focused event, Toyota will feature the Tamaraw GL Dropside as a practical workhorse for the building and construction industry. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the vehicle through test drives during the event.
Tamaraw at PURVEYR Fair
On September 12 and 13, the Tamaraw takes on a more creative role at PURVEYR Fair at the World Trade Center Tent.
A Tamaraw GL Dropside will be transformed into a DJ booth, while another unit will serve as a pop-up flower store, both making use of the vehicle’s open rear section as the base for their mobile setups.
A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed at the fair in support of Waves For Water, showing how the vehicle can be converted into a functional mobile business space while also supporting an advocacy.

Tamaraw at DCPH Grandparents Day Pit Stop
Also happening from September 12 to 13 is the Die Cast Car Collectors of the Philippines’ Grandparents Day Pit Stop at Cash & Carry Makati.
Visitors will be able to see a Tamaraw GL Dropside on display alongside the event’s diecast attractions. Its appearance also highlights the Tamaraw’s appeal beyond business use, particularly among automotive enthusiasts who see potential in its modular and adaptable design for leisure and creative applications.
Across all four events, the Next Generation Tamaraw shows that its strength lies not only in getting from one place to another, but in what owners can build around it. From food and construction businesses to creative concepts and enthusiast communities, its different configurations offer a glimpse of how the vehicle can be shaped around different ideas and operations.
