According to New NAIA Infrastructure Corp (NNIC), Terminal 1 will be dedicated exclusively to Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, for international flights. Terminal 2, on the other hand, will handle domestic flights for both PAL and Cebu Pacific, while Terminal 3 will accommodate all other international airlines for their inbound and outbound flights.

Meanwhile, Terminal 4 will serve as the hub for AirAsia’s domestic operations.
These changes are designed to enhance NAIA’s operations and boost its capacity to handle more flights through better runway utilization. According to NNIC, the terminal reassignments will be phased in over three years to avoid disrupting current operations and to accommodate a growing number of passengers in the future.
