  • The Japan Airlines (JAL) Myaku-Myaku Jet is set to fly high through the skies starting June 3, 2024 in celebration of the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo) from April 13 to October 13, 2025 in Yumeshima, Osaka, Japan!

The Boeing 787-8 will grace the skies in a fun and meaningful way—the aircraft is decorated with artistic, original, and expertly crafted designs from the expo. The aircraft will also introduce Osaka Kansai Expo’s official character, Myaku-Myaku, an adorable and mysterious creature that resembles cells and water.

This is part of their exciting initiative to inform more international travelers of the Osaka-Kansai Expo that aims to bring people together from all over the world.

Expect an ultimately thrilling experience as JAL will be presenting their flying cars in an unprecedent event, having been selected as an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) operator! These will be presented during the “Future Society Showcase Project Exhibition,” “Smart Mobility Expo,” and “Advanced Air Mobility” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025!

Further, the airlines is anticipating travelers from the Philippines to fly with them on June 3, 2024 going to Narita in Japan aboard the JAL Myaku-Myaku Jet:

    • JL 77; 6:00 a.m.: Depart from Haneda, Japan; Arrive to Manila, Philippines (Arrival Flight)
    • JL 746; 10:08 a.m.: Depart from Manila, Philippines; Arrive to Narita (Return Flight)

On the other hand, travelers coming from Narita and Kansai in Japan may also get to visit Bangkok, Thailand, while those departing from Kansai airport may also travel to Taipei (Taoyuan).
