Usher in Good Luck this Setsubun 2023 with Fukudaya BGC’s Ehomaki

This coming Setsubun (February 3), Fukudaya Japanese Dining in BGC ushers in abundance and good luck with auspicious ehomaki (lucky direction roll).

Ehomaki is a thick, rolled sushi made with seven ingredients that are supposed to represent the Seven Gods of Fortune, which symbolize wealth and happiness in Japan.

Eating this delicacy during Setsubun is supposed to bring good luck for the rest of the year to those who manage to finish it without saying anything. In this unique ritual, you also have to do it while facing the direction that is said to be lucky for that particular year.

So usher in good luck and prosperity for the rest of 2023 by preordering Fukudaya’s limited edition ehomaki either for dine in or take out until Feb. 3.
