  • There’s nothing like Christmas at Shangri-La Plaza! Get into the festive Holidaze mood as Shang spreads the yuletide cheer with events that feature everything people love best about this season: music, food, and Santa!

    Feel the Christmas spirit with uplifting musical performances. Let the joy of the season uplift and bring holiday cheer as Shang presents a line-up of special musical performances. Catch the Contemporary A Cappella Singers Association (CASA) as the young and talented group serenade shoppers with their contemporary repertoire on December 10, 6 p.m. at Level 1. Symphonies of Joy featuring Shang Musicians and Harmonies of Joy perform beloved holiday tunes on December 10-11 and before and after Christmas weekend on December 19-23 and December 26-30.

    As a special treat to mall guests, Shang-based ballet school JNA Dance and Fitness Center is holding its year-end dance showcase titled Reverence on December 21, 6 p.m. at the Grand Atrium.

    Enjoy holiday indulgences at these anticipated festivals. No need to wait for Noche Buena or Media Noche to indulge in delightful eats and treats. At Shang, foodies can check out Our Awesome Christmas, a holiday food fest organized by popular lifestyle blog Our Awesome Planet until December 11 at the Grand Atrium. It features some of the most beloved online food brands in the metro like Salmon HQ that’s known for its salmon cakes, Pufft Doughnuts that offers handcrafted donuts by Chef Meg who has 16 years of culinary experience in London and Manila, and Flour Pot Manila that serves premium rum and naked cakes in small batches.

    ChubbyCon, the annual food convention by the Masarap Ba? Community, is also returning to Shang on December 15-18 at the Grand Atrium for It’s A Christmasarap Parteh! food event. It showcases the food brands tried, tested, and rated “masarap” by the online foodie community. This includes The Lucas Kitchen that offers sushi party boxes, Crepe Glazik that delivers authentic French crepes, and The Kabute Farm that dishes out mushroom sisig.

    Naughty or Nice? Let the kids meet jolly St. Nick. What’s Christmas without the jolly old man in a red suit that every child is eager to meet? Let the kids experience one of the holidays’ longest standing traditions. Santa Claus is coming to Shang! The little ones get the chance to have their photos taken with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on December 10 at 2:30 p.m. and December 17 and 23 at 3 p.m. at Level 1 in Shang. Better watch out, better not cry! Just present a single receipt of at least Php 500 purchase from any Shang store until December 23 to get a ticket for the photo session with Santa.
