  • LOOK: Makati City Offers Free Covid-19 Tests for Residents
  • With the ongoing surge of Covid-19 cases in Metro Manila, the city of Makati announced that free coronavirus disease (Covid-19) tests will be provided to its qualified residents.

Earlier this week, Makati City’s official Facebook page shared that it will allow symptomatic residents to avail themselves of the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and antigen tests for Covid-19 free of charge.

Senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, indigent population, and even unvaccinated individuals who are close contacts of a Covid-19 patient are qualified for the free Covid-19 tests, noted that they are most vulnerable to contracting the dreaded infection.

Ipapatupad ito dahil sa tumataas na demand ng libreng Covid-19 testing (This is being implemented amid the increasing demand of free Covid-19 tests),” the city’s advisory read.
