In its latest weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with localized rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or Habagat. Flash floods and landslides might occur in areas susceptible to these hazards.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will experience monsoon rains. Flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible.
The rest of the country will experience rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and Visayas, while Mindanao will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
