LOOK: PITX, PH’s First Modern Landport
PITX was inaugurated on November 10, 2018, and it accommodates provincial buses from Cavite and Batangas and in-city modes of transportation bound for Metro Manila’s southwest.

The project was a partnership between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Megawide Construction Corporation. The initiative aims to provide an effective interconnection among transport modes and services, which helps ensure efficient and seamless travel for the riding public. It has a maximum capacity of 100,000 passengers daily.

PITX is characterized with “first of its kind” features and world-class services, such as a state-of-the-art bus reservation and online booking system with seat selection options, an advanced ticketing system with centralized ticketing counters, and 50 automated ticketing kiosks.

For the comfort of the passengers, it is also equipped with various amenities, such as waiting areas, water stations, free wifi access, work and charging stations, locker facilities, telephone booths, centralized shopping center, gender-neutral restrooms, facilities for infants and breastfeeding moms, clinic, multi-faith prayer room, pay-in lounge, as well as trolleys and wheelchairs for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
