Bonifacio High Street Awarded as One of the Most Bike-Friendly Commercial Establishments in NCR
With outstanding efforts in maintaining a bike-friendly city in the metro, Bonifacio High Street was recently recognized as one of the “Most Bike-Friendly Commercial Establishments” in the first-ever Mobility Awards.

The Mobility Awards is a platform that recognizes acts of leadership by Philippine local governments, workplaces, and commercial establishments promoting cycling as a reliable, efficient, and sustainable mode of transport among their constituencies, customers, employees, and communities.
It was launched last September by the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities, together with MNL Move, The Climate Reality Project Philippines, and 350 Pilipinas.

Bonifacio High Street was among the winners of the main award in the Most Bike-Friendy Commercial Establishments category earning a Silver award.
BGC has kept its promise of providing new normal solutions and becoming a Personal Mobility Device (PMD) friendly community by extending its existing 9.5km bike lanes with another 3.65km covering 26th street, 29th street, 1st ave, 2nd ave, and Burgos Circle. This is to ensure that BGCitizens can easily ride their way within the city’s confines.
Moreover, BGC has also deployed new bike racks in 20 different locations within the city. Some are located at 20th East A, Volkswagen, Burgos Circle, Terra 28th, One Parkade, and The Flats among others.
With these efforts, BGC aims to create a safer, more conducive, and more convenient environment for its citizens and more.
