TPE Market Place in Makati: Taiwanese Grocery Store

TPE Market Place is a Taiwanese grocery store often visited by Chinese and Taiwanese expats. It’s also popular with students near the area who want to eat authentic Taiwanese dishes. It is located along Chino Roces Avenue and is within walking distance from Makati Medical Center and Ayala Avenue.

Co-owned by Goodie Yang, TPE Market Place was established last March 2013 and is currently visited by almost 100 customers a day. They sell a wide array of Taiwanese products for a good price — from snacks and fruits to cosmetic products, phone cases, toys, and more. They also have a mini food station at the right side of the store offering Chinese delicatessen.

TPE is also famous for their selection of bento lunch boxes for only P190. It comes with 5 kinds of side dishes.
