Number of cases
As of 4 p.m. today the Department of Health (DOH) recorded 200 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the total number of cases to 6,459.

DOH also reported 41 recoveries and 19 deaths resulting in a total of 613 recoveries and 428 mortalities.
DILG directs barangay captains to post list of SAP beneficiaries
As a measure to identify the beneficiaries for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) financial assistance under the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has directed barangay captains to post the list of their target beneficiaries in conspicuous places within their communities.
The DILG Secretary said that it is also important for the punong barangays to fully disclose the list of beneficiaries…
This action is to maintain transparency and to also have feedback from the residences as to who should receive the said assistance.
Zamboanga del Sur restricts entry to the province
JUST IN: Gov. Victor J. Yu issues Executive Order No. 2020-11 SUSPENDING/RESTRICTING ENTRY OF PRIVATE VEHICLES AND…
Effective today, April 20, the entry of private vehicles in the province of Zamboanga del Sur has now been restricted. However, said restriction will not apply to those under EO No. 2020-09 and 2020-10; as well as those allowed under IATF guidelines. The restriction is in effect until the lift of the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
