PAL Offers Travel Voucher With Bonus Value and Unlimited Rebooking
In line with the extension of the Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), Philippine Airlines (PAL) cancels all their domestic and international flights until April 30, 2020. The airline will be announcing the list of operating flights and routes once it was finalized.
FLIGHT ADVISORY: We confirm that all Philippine Airlines domestic and international flights are cancelled up to April…
With an intent to resume flying by May 1, 2020, PAL assures all the guests who are affected by the cancellation of flights that their current tickets are safe and will remain valid amid the continuing uncertainty brought by the travel and quarantine restrictions. Further, PAL also rolls out travel voucher with bonus value and unlimited rebooking for their eligible guests.
Eligible guests for travel voucher with bonus value and unlimited rebooking
- If you booked a flight any flight with travel date from March 15 to April 30, 2020
- If you booked a flight that was cancelled due to COVID-19 on any date from February 2 to May 31, 2020
- If you were prevented from traveling on the given dates because of travel bans or mandatory quarantine
Eligible guests may either convert their ticket into a travel voucher that will be worth the full unused value of their ticket plus an additional 10% of the said value for future travels or do unlimited rebookings with rebookings fee waived.
On their first rebooking, PAL will waive any applicable fare difference if the guests fly on the same cabin class on their rebooked flights or if the guests will travel on or before November 30, 2020 or within their ticket validity (whichever comes first).
The said voucher can also be availed if they haven’t made previous changes to their booking. If the ticket was purchased through a travel agent, guests should contact their travel agent for the necessary coordination with PAL.
For succeeding bookings, guests can choose a new date within their original ticket validity and PAL will then waive the rebooking fees. However, PAL may collect a fare difference and taxes if the guest’s original fare level is not available on the rebooked flight. The said succeeding rebooking requests must also be submitted not later than 24 hours before the departure time of the guest’s most recent booked flight.
Request of conversion to travel voucher or rebooking may be done by getting in touch with PAL via myPAL Request Hub or by calling their hotline at 02-8855-8888.
