  • Malasimbo Festival 2020: Festivity of Music, Arts, and Culture
  • Usually held in the coastal town of Puerto Galera, Malasimbo is a festivity of music, arts, environment, and culture—attracting a broad number of guests all around the globe.

Thankfully, the 10th edition of the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival was held at La Mesa Eco Park, Quezon City last February 29 to March 1, 2020, aiming to bring the anticipated festival closer to the public.

For this 2020, the organizers chose La Mesa Eco Park as the new venue, which perfectly embodies their advocacy “environmental awareness.” The hidden park in Quezon City was crowded by locals and foreigners who are much interested to explore the traditional and contemporary arts and culture.

As you come in La Mesa Eco Park, it will make you admire the wonders of nature given that the said park has remained as one of the greenest parts in the bustling city.

For those who want to unwind, a health and wellness program was conducted for everyone to have a special space for deep relaxation through the use of different musical instruments.

The first music business conference, on the other hand, was attended by music business executives, professionals, and artists, with a goal to uplift the music scene in the country. In a talk with Michael Peha, they emphasized that it is important to concentrate on one’s music and be knowledgeable about how the music business works.

The music conference featured a wide scope of the music scene including event marketing, the significance of record labels, the art of remix, and music production.

Besides the health and wellness programs and music business conference, the band’s live performances wowed a lot of guests as they enthusiastically performed some of their original and cover songs.

Particularly, Talata ni Tala played their latest release “Kalaro”. Another band who performed was Malana, showcasing some of their lively songs.

During the night live performances, guests were astonished as the stage was surrounded by vibrant lights plus their aesthetic disco ball. Indeed, good music is much better to listen to while looking at a beautiful sight.
