PROMOL: JAL to Offer 100,000 Free Tickets for Overseas Visitors in 2020
Japan is bound to be the next tourist destination particularly this coming 2020 as the country will be the host for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Adding to the excitement is that Japan Airlines (JAL) will be giving away up to 100,000 tickets on domestic flights to visitors from overseas this coming summer!
Visitors can discover more about the country’s fascinating history and distinctive cultural practices by exploring Japan’s different regions not only in Tokyo but in other local areas as well.
Starting late February 2020, guests can apply online via Win a Trip with JAL and choose a departure location, day, number of people and time slot. Participants must be registered as an overseas member of the JAL Mileage Bank and must be visiting Japan from July 1 and September 30, 2020.
Up to 100,000 seats will be available free of charge. This service is available only to visitors to Japan between June 1 and October 31, 2020.
Four potential destination airports are listed and guests will be informed of their destination within three days of application. Flights depart from and return to Tokyo in Haneda and Osaka in Itami or Kansai only.
JAL is offering this special promotion through Dokokani Mile (Go anywhere, Random Destination Miles) system, a JAL mileage service that allows customers to use special award tickets for domestic JAL group routes.
The said campaign is part of larger travel promotion Your Japan 2020 by the Japan Tourism Agency and the Japan National Tourism Organization in 2020.
