  • Benguet’s Itogon Coffee Debuts at World Travel Market London
  • Earlier this year, we discovered the warm, hearty taste of Itogon coffee.

And recently, the premium specialty coffee made a debut at the World Travel Market London last November 4 to 6 presented by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and coffee company, Henry & Sons.

    Itogon Coffee

World Travel Market is one of the leading global events for the travel industry players where industry professionals can meet with potential clients and conduct business deals.

TBP’s Philippine booth featured weaving, accessories, as well as Filipino cuisine from the award-winning Chef Jam Melchor from Pampanga and Chef Rica Buenaflor from the Bicol region.

Along with Itogon coffee, Philippine coffee from Cordillera, Bukidnon, Mt. Apo and Cagayan de Oro were also showcased.

For entertainment, TBP also brought the award-winning artists of folkloric group La Lira Filipina, headlined by vocalist Princess Virtudazo and violinist and concertmaster Merjohn Lagaya.

The group serenaded the event with traditional Filipino music, as well as opera, Broadway and contemporary music.

    Itogon Coffee

The Itogon Coffee started from a vision of Michael Harris—one of the founders of Henry & Sons and head of the Foundation of Sustainable Coffee Excellence—and his group.

Like your regular imported coffee, Itogon also boasts global qualities with its nutty, dark chocolate tableau aroma, paired with a light syrupy texture and balanced level of acidity. These qualities will perfectly remind you of a Filipino comfort coffee but on an international level.
