Operations from the Santolan to Anonas stations and back are unavailable for a minimum of six months and a maximum of nine months due to the required repairs of the damaged rectifier substations.
According to the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA)’s Administrator Gen. Reynaldo I. Berroya, they have to thoroughly check the structures and equipment of the LRT-2 before they resume their operations as they cannot compromise the safety of the passengers.
