Enderun Extension, Enderun Colleges’ arm for continuing education, will offer after-school football programs divided into four parts, which will highlight each of Cruzeiro’s pillars: Love of the Game, Skills Acquisition, Game Training, and Performance.
Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, also known as Cruzeiro, is one of the biggest and most successful Brazilian professional sports clubs.
Mostly known for its football success in developing players such as Ronaldo and Rivaldo, Cruzeiro expanded to Southeast Asia to establish collaborations with different schools to teach football and futsal.

According to Cruzeiro Asia Technical Director Jonathas Candido, “There is so much potential in the Filipino youth when it comes to sports and we are here to do training programs which focus on four skills that we hope to develop in them: tactical, technical, physical, and mental.”
“Futsal, as a developmental program for football, is an exciting, fast-paced sport that will teach students not just camaraderie and teamwork but getting involved in the game through strategy and critical thinking. As head coach, I’m here to develop talented students and individuals who also want to excel in the game of futsal, or use it as a stepping stone to becoming a skillful football player,” Cruzeiro Asia Head Coach Leonardo Medeiros added.
“We are very happy to partner with Cruzeiro Asia. We look forward to offering after-school football and futsal programs that will give students the chance to learn the sport in a comprehensive way by using the Cruzeiro methodology. We hope someday Filipinos will have a deeper appreciation for the sport through Enderun’s sports programs,” shares Daniel Perez, senior vice president and one of the co-founders of Enderun Colleges.
The special clinic will cover all the basics of Futsal and Football/Soccer, particularly focusing on skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. It will be divided into two divisions: 5 to 7 years old and 8 to 11 years old, with a total of 18 sessions.
Football sessions start on October until December this year.
