The Irish pro wrestler known as the Celtic Warrior had a 40-minute Q&A session with the Filipino media at Skinny Mike’s, BGC, where he was asked a variety of questions regarding his illustrious career, his workout channel on Youtube, as well as what he loves the most about the Philippines, among others.
First, Sheamus addressed the buzzing question about his return to the ring. He was last seen in action back in April at Wrestlemania 35, where he and tag team partner Cesaro failed to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match.
Fans were speculating whether this is his last appearance in the ring, but Sheamus explained that he is just enjoying the off-time—his first after 10 years of being in the business. However, he also admitted that he is dealing with some injuries at the moment.
Having said that, Sheamus is mostly occupied these days with his workout channel, Celtic Warrior Workouts, where he has over 400 thousand subscribers. His videos are about his workout routines with other WWE Superstars and fitness icons.

Lastly, the Q&A would not be complete without asking Sheamus what he likes most about the Philippines.
“My girlfriend’s from the Philippines,” he quipped, which made the members of the media cheer.
Sheamus added that aside from the food, he really finds the Filipino people amazing—saying that what makes a country great is its people.
“Everybody here is so proud to be from the Philippines. Everyone is so proud of their country,” he added. It’s evident in his Instagram account that the Irish superstar had fun in his stay in the country.
Sheamus also believes that the Philippines is capable of producing a WWE Superstar one day.
“There’s no reason that this country would not have a WWE superstar. They just don’t make any excuses,” he said.
After the Q&A, Sheamus had a meet and greet with 10 lucky fans.
