ReMastered: The Lion’s Share
South African reporter Rian Malan searches for the family of Solomon Linda who composed “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, a song used in Disney’s The Lion King. After discovering Linda’s family, Malan helps them fight for just compensation.

Lucifer (Season 4)
In the events after Chloe sees his devil face, Lucifer must now face a new challenge – the original sinner, Eve, is back. Does she plan on revenge after being kicked out of the Garden of Eden or is she after something else entirely? The fourth season of Lucifer is set to run for 10 episodes but will be having a mid-season break after the fifth episode airs which means that there’s going to be a bit more suspense in this season.

A Dog’s Purpose
Adapted from the 2010 novel of the same name, A Dog’s Purpose was first released in 2017 and follows the story of a dog who has lived many lives. The film follows the life of a dog who is reincarnated into many lives and is brought into the lives of many owners before finding his way back to his original owner, Ethan. The film, while light-hearted, poses dramatic themes that will surely make you want to cuddle with your beloved dog.

The Red Turtle (La Tortue Rouge)
A shipwrecked mariner finds himself at the mercy of an immense and furious ocean where he has to battle the relentless waves for his life. The man then drifts ashore on a deserted tropical island. He builds a raft for himself but his plans of escape get thwarted by the titular Red Turtle. Originally released in 2016, The Red Turtle is an animated no dialogue fantasy drama that is a co-produced by Studio Ghibli and Wild Bunch. The Red Turtle was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 89th Academy Awards.

Wine Country
This Netflix original is a comedy that follows a group of friends who go on a trip to Wine Country, California to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of their friends. But as the celebrations begin, some tensions from their past begin to boil over.

The Society (Season 1)
Teenagers awake to find that all children and adults have suddenly disappeared. They find out that they’ve been transported into a parallel universe that’s a replica of their own where they’re trapped by a dense forest on the town’s borders. Without adult supervision, chaos in the town ensues as friendships are broken and divisions are made. There is no one to stop them and no one who can save them from themselves.

Revisions (Season 1)
Set in Shibuya, Japan, Daisuke Dojime and his friends get involved in a strange event called “Shibuya Drift” that transports them 300 years into the future of the Shibuya neighborhood. In that future exists a hostile cyborg race called “Revisions”. They must now defeat these enemies and recover their present.

The Meddler
Originally released in 2015, this comedy-drama tells the story of Marnie, a lonely aging widow who follows her daughter, Lori, to Los Angeles with the hope of beginning a new life. She begins with meddling with her daughter’s life, much to Lori’s dismay. But Marnie makes the decision to channel her motherly energy to help the people that she encounters, including a clerk and a young lesbian mother.

In a Valley of Violence
Originally released in 2016, In a Valley of Violence is an American western film that follows Paul, a drifter who is on a journey to Mexico through the Old West. Paul attempts to cut their journey short by passing through the town of Denton, otherwise known as the “Valley of Violence” by the locals. Denton is controlled by misfits and fools. As the tension rises, the residents become witnesses to an act of violence that begins a destructive chain of events. While there were attempts to stop the hysteria, nothing could stop the escalation of violence.

Good Sam
Based on the book of the same name, Good Sam follows a reporter who, despite having a few hardships in her career finds love in pursuing the story of the titular Good Sam, a mysterious figure who is leaving bags of money for strangers around New York City. After the first time that it happens, a chain reaction begins and soon, Good Sam has inspired others to do good as well.
