  • Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are considered public holidays in the Philippines. In light of this, work and operations of most establishments are suspended, including foreign embassies.

    Here are some of the foreign embassies in the Philippines that will close offices on April 18 (Maundy Thursday) and April 19 (Good Friday) in observance of Holy Week 2019.

    Closed on April 18 and 19:

    • US Embassy
    • Japanese Embassy
    • British Embassy
    • Australian Embassy
    • Canadian Embassy
    • French Embassy
    • Korean Embassy
    • Singaporean Embassy
    • Spanish Embassy
    • Royal Thai Embassy

    Closed on April 19 ONLY:

    • Indian Embassy
    • Italian Embassy

    Closed on April 18, 19, and 22 (Operations resume April 23, Tuesday):

    • Austrian Embassy
    • German Embassy
