As the leading brand of Otsuka Pharmaceutical, Pocari Sweat joined as a Gold Tier Sponsor of the 2019 SEA Games that will be held in the Philippines this coming November 2019. Signing on their behalf was Mr. Yoshihiro Bando, President of PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka.

The signing was held at the Taguig City Satellite Office at the SM Aura Tower

PHISCOG also assured their private partners that they will be given the best value for their sponsorship and also mentioned that the Philippines has raised the standards of hosting the international tournament.

Cayetano also mentioned that the preparations for the 30th SEA Games are in full swing and that the entry of Pocari Sweat will give a big boost to their commitment to achieving their goals and tasks. He also mentioned that some SEA Games activities will be commencing despite the 2019 General Elections.

Earlier this year, PHISGOC welcomed Ajinomoto, Asics, Atos, GL Events, Grand Sport, Marathon, Molten and Philippine Airlines to their growing list of sponsors. They have also ensured that the games will be successful with the participation of both the government and international sponsors combined.

The 30th South East Asian Games is slated to begin on November 2019 and will be broadcast in partnership with Media Pro Asia.
