Taiwan’s Brown Sugar Milk Tea ‘Xing Fu Tang’ Opens First Branch in PH
Xing Fu Tang’s famed brown sugar brand from Taiwan is finally in the Philippines, and everyone’s raving about its authentic stir-fried brown sugar pearl milk tea!
It seems like there is still no sign of stopping the milk tea trend in the Philippines as it continues to innovate new and exciting cups for everyone. One of which is the brown sugar trend that’s taking over social media sites.

For those unfamiliar with the brown sugar milk tea trend, it is basically sweeter, and more caramel-ish or toasted version of milk tea. As this trend escalates, there is another addition to the growing number of brown sugar milk tea brand in the Philippines called Xing Fu Tang.

Although they are relatively new to the business, which started in January of 2018, Xing Fu Tang is taking the milk tea scene like a storm with over 40 branches in Taiwan and branches in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Vancouver, and the Philippines.
Their famed brown sugar milk tea is prepared with the boba pearls stir-fried and scooped to the cup before adding the base. It is topped with brown sugar and torched to give a more caramelized finish. You can try them out starting March 15, 2019, at its first ever branch in the Philippines at the 5th floor of The Podium, Mandaluyong.
They will soon be opening another branch at Promenade and Venice Grand Canal Mall.
