Practicing medicine for almost 23 years now, Dr. Liza Francisco specializes in family medicine, with a subspecialty in medical nutrition and geriatrics. Dr. Francisco has always chosen a unique career path, leading her to be one of the pioneers in medical nutrition in the Philippines.
As the current Head of the Asian Senior Wellness Institute at Asian Hospital and Medical Center, she focuses on elderly patients and makes sure that she coordinates the care with the multidisciplinary team. Dr. Francisco deals with her patients by ensuring that she uses a comprehensive approach to screen and assess problems early on and intervene using both preventive and therapeutic programs for the elderly.
She also has numerous international recognition, representing the Philippines in the council of American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), and Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Society of Asia (PENSA) since 2015.
