  • Every year we commemorate and remember the last week of Jesus’s life during Holy Week. It is also the best time to reflect on your life and the decisions you’ve made along the way. Following these days is Easter Sunday, which is a time to celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection.

    For anyone who plans to go out and spend the Lenten Season with their family, here are some restaurants which are open and worth your time.

    Botan Black 

    If you’re looking for something secluded away from the city, Botan Black offers Taiwanese dishes that can be a quick fix to your cravings. They consider themselves healthy and served hefty sandwiches good for sharing to be consumed alone. Aside from ala carte meals, they also offer authentic Chinese tea, perfect for the hot or cold weather. Drop by at their Makati or BGC brach for refreshments and scrumptious meals.

    L’entrecôte Corner Bistro

    Celebrate Easter Sunday by finally having the steak you’ve been craving for the entire week! L’entrecôte offers French-Swiss cuisine, they also serve different European dishes that will satisfy your appetite. They serve a lot of meat dishes, one of their best-sellers is the La Brochette Flambee (Php 3,300 good for 2-3 persons). Aside from steaks for main dishes, they also serve a wide range of delectable dessert.

    Soga Miga

    Korean-style chargrilled meat can be found at Soga Miga in Alabang. They boast authentic food and a friendly atmosphere for you to dine in. The beef served, such as the premium galbisal (hp P800), wagyu sirloin steak (Php 1,200) and wagyuchuck eye (Php 1,000), are from U.S. high quality. This is the place to be if you’ve been starving yourself and want to treat yourself.
