The Great British Festival 2018
The Great British Festival 2018 kicked off last February 23, 2018, at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center as the British Embassy Manila brings together some of the biggest UK brands to showcase the best of UK’s music, fashion, food, innovation, and arts.

British Ambassador Daniel Pruce led the ribbon cutting ceremony that formally opened the festival activities. The Ambassador wandered around the festival area along with the press. Guests had fun sampling the delicious assortment of British food and drinks, as well as the interactive exhibits staged by the festival’s partner brands such as M&S, The Body Shop, Lush, Shell, Quorn, Costa Coffee, and Union Jack Tavern.

The said event will run for two weeks and will reach out across the country, with a variety of activities in Metro Manila, Iloilo Cebu, Dumaguete, and Baguio from February 23 until March 10, 2018.

A series of lectures led by UK experts will happen on today in UP Diliman and tomorrow at the De La Salle University, followed by a talk done by the British Ambassador on British excellence happing on March 1 at Saint Louis University in Baguio and March 5 to 6 at Siliman University in Dumaguete. A trade mission in Iloilo City will take place from March 7 to 9, and a showcase of the best British food and drink will follow soon after in Cebu City in association with Chef Jason Atherton.
