PH is Third Happiest Country in the World
The Philippines takes pride in various awards and recognition. As it welcomes 2018, the country was once again able to make its name known globally as it was recently named the third happiest country in the world.
In a report published on ABS-CBN News, a global survey conducted by US-based Gallup International, the Philippines landed in 3rd place of being one of the happiest countries in the world with a net score of +84.
Results showed that 86% of Filipinos said that they are happy, 2% were unhappy, and 10% remained neutral to the given issue. These numbers show that despite calamities, disasters, and other tragedies that came our way, we continue to see things in a positive light.
Aside from being tagged as the third happiest country in the world, the country was also the 7th most optimistic nation in the world, tying with Kosovo. All these things can be attributed to the leadership under the country’s newest president, Rodrigo Duterte.
