iflix’s Hoy! Bibig Mo revolutionizes the Filipino comedy scene
If you haven’t downloaded and subscribed to iflix, here’s one good reason to do it now: the country’s leading video-on-demand service is finally launching its first original no-holds-barred comedy series!
Hoy! Bibig Mo will be available on iflix this December.
During a media preview held at Yes Please! in Uptown BGC, guests were given a first taste of the upcoming all-Filipino comedy series Hoy! Bibig Mo. The room was filled with laughter and giggles, with a lot of guests literally rolling in their seats.
But beware—Hoy! Bibig Mo, which translates to “watch your mouth,” is not your ordinary comedy.
Hoy! Bibig Mo is hosted by comedy icon and internet action star Ramon Bautista.

Bibig Mo features a revolutionary lineup of Filipino standup comedians, which include Ryan Rems, GB Labrador, James Caraan, Alex Calleja, Victor Anastacio, Muman Reyes, and Nonong Ballinan, who are equipped with a lot of outlandish relatable jokes, dark humor, and savage punch lines. They just don’t care who they might offend.

Hoy! Bibig Mo was filmed as a live performance in front of a real audience. This eight-part comedy series features three comedians in each episode.
“Filipinos love to laugh but there’s hardly any platform for them to go to. There’s not a particular show they can go to if they want to watch comedy,” says iflix Head of Content and Operations Georgette Tengco. By releasing Hoy! Bibig Mo on the VOD platform or internet TV, people can have easier access to entertainment that we don’t usually find on the heavily censored television or even at comedy bars.
Now, you don’t have to wait for your favorite sitcom on TV or go to a comedy bar, which is even more difficult if you’re outside of Metro Manila. Wherever you are—on a bus, in the toilet, or in a cave—as long as you have your smartphone and the iflix app, you can get your much-needed tickle and jiggle with Hoy! Bibig Mo.
All eight episodes of Hoy! Bibig Mo will be exclusively available on iflix starting December 1.
