  • Weeks of speculation have finally been confirmed as Malacañang declared Nov. 13 – 15, 2017 as special holidays in preparation for the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.

    This comes after Pres. Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation No. 332, declaring Nov. 13 – 15 as special holidays in Metro Manila along with the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga earlier today.

    The ASEAN 2017 National Organizing Committee made the recommendation based on the activities that will happen between Metro Manila and Pampanga, like the ASEAN Conference on Traditional Medicine happening from Nov. 14 – 16 and the 31st ASEAN Summit itself, happening from Nov. 10 – 14.

    The Metro Manila Council, which consists of all mayors of Metro Manila, earlier announced that it would be suspending classes in all levels on November 16 and 17 due to the summit.
