Madrid Fusión Manila looks to improve from an impressive 2017 with a new theme that revolves around innovation. Calling it Innovating Tradition, where chefs now look back to their roots by looking into their pantries and discovering what is available in their own locales.

With this in mind, Madrid Fusión Manila 2018’s theme, “Innovating Tradition” embodies more than just a goal. It is, essentially, a declaration of a belief once deemed impossible. Madrid Fusión Manila was originally scheduled from April 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center. However, several sources have confirmed that event will now be held by Tourism Promotions Board (TBP), the marketing arm of DOT. This change will cause the dates to be moved but Teresita D. Landan of TBP assures fans that the event was “pushing through.”
