Puerto Princesa makes it to CNN Travel’s ‘List of Scenic Splendor’
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River made it into CNN’s “The Ultimate List of Scenic Splendor.”
In an article published by Bija Knowles on CNN Travel, one of the Philippines’ most prized destination, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, made it to the 30th spot of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

Knowles also described the famed river, which runs for 8.2 kilometers underground filled with limestone karst formations. The popular tourist activity to do here is canoeing, where one can also see Palawan stink badger that lives in the area.

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River was also part of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2007-2011 chosen through a global poll.
Apart from Palawan’s Subterranean River, the island was also consecutively listed as the World’s Best Island in Travel + Leisure magazine.
