Call for submissions for Ayala Museum’s Yarn Bomb-knit Bomb exhibition
The name Lulu Tan-Gan is synonymous to fashionable knitwear, and for a good reason the lady dubbed as “the queen of knitwear” has been designing knits since 1985, but her success in the industry has not stopped Lulu from embracing what she calls a “design evolution.”
This 2017, be part of the YARN BOMB – KNIT BOMB exhibition by dressing up the Greenbelt garden trees and have a chance to personally work with Lulu in creating the exhibition!

To join, you must knit circular pieces of yarn using bright warm colors of Yellows, Oranges, Reds, Fuchsias, Magentas, and Purples, and e-mail your work samples volunteers@ayalamuseum.org with subject head: “For Approval: YARN BOMB – KNIT BOMB sample work”.
You may click here to fill-out the pre-registration form. Submissions are open to the public. However, only the first 180 knitted or crocheted fabrics will be accepted. Deadline for submission of work samples is on or before September 17, 2017, while the exhibition will run from November 2017 to January 14, 2018.
After you have submitted your creation to the L Manila Shop or Ayala Museum, the shop and museum staff will check on the database if you have registered. However, if you are one of the 20 Top weavers, you will be informed as soon as possible and will be tasked to be part as a protégé to Lulu Tan Gan in creating the exhibition.
