InterNations, the largest network for expats, has released their Top 10 Friendliest Destinations for Families, and the Philippines earns the 10th spot, beating 35 other countries. According to InterNations, the Philippines received 86% rating for ‘friendliness towards expat families’ — a rate which is slightly higher than the global average of 80%. In addition, expat parents with younger children gave a 39% rating to the Philippines when it comes to childcare costs.
The survey is based on the insights of more than 3,000 expat families given in the annual Expat Insider survey. Their top 3 friendliest destinations are Uganda, Israel and Taiwan respectively. Also included are Costa Rica, Thailand, Greece, Australia, Mexico, and Turkey.
There is no doubt that the Philippine tourism is booming with expats staying in our country and foreigners visiting every year. We are hoping that The Philippines can remain on the top list, if not perhaps a higher rank.
