The 11th Japan International MANGA Award is still accepting entries!
Calling all talented Manga artists all over the world! You can still join the 11th Japan International MANGA Award until June 16!
If you wish to join, just fill up an entry form provided in their website and submit two nonreturnable hard copies of your own manga work. The entry should be of more than 16 pages, make sure you include page numbers on every page of the printed material. If the manga is written in the artist’s local language, an English or Japanese translation is also required.

The Japan International MANGA Award has been established to honor MANGA artists who contribute to the promotion of MANGA overseas. The award will be given to the best cartoon from the entries and about three distinguished works will receive the International MANGA Encouragement Award with commendation certificates. Taking the opportunity of the award ceremony, the Japan Foundation will invite award recipients to Japan for about ten days.
The participants will pay courtesy calls on Japanese cartoonists, publishing companies and others.
The application period for the 11th Japan International MANGA Award is from March 17th 2017 to June 16th 2017.
The award ceremony is planned to be held in Tokyo in February 2018.
