  • Diving ban in Mabini Batangas, now lifted
  • Divers are now free to dive in Mabini, Batangas after the local government unit (LGU) prompted the diving ban, when magnitude 6.0 earthquake jolts the province last April 8, Saturday.

The Philippine coast guard made sure that the divers comply with the temporary ban. They’ve been patrolling the dive spots since the day of implementation. While diving activities are prohibited, swimming is still allowed.

In an article published by Manila Bulletin, PCG Spokesperson Commander Armand Balilo confirmed on April 14, Friday, that the diving ban in the community has been lifted, based on the assessment of Mayor Noel “Bitrics” Luistro.

With Batangas being one of the best diving spots in the Philippines, the ban being lifted is sure to excite divers ready to explore the beauty of Batangas.
