The Cebu-born designer, who was known for designing the “Yoda chairs” leaders like Barack Obama, Xi Jinping used during their visit her, already has stores in Makati, Cebu, and New York City, and he plans to expand his reach by opening showrooms in Germany, Portugal, and Hong Kong by next year.  This is through Endeavour who supports high-impact entrepreneur and  helps them bring their products and business in emerging countries.

This partnership, according to Cobonpue, helped them have a better look and grasp to what they can do and what their customers want. “We’re looking at the company and trying to see what’s our purpose, why are we here basically, and what can we offer to the world,” Cobonpue stated.

Cobonpue, in an article in Rappler, also said that through the country’s multilingual culture, it is possible for the country to catch up with the never ending competition and innovations in the creative industry.
